In school, I studied both Cognitive Science and also focused on Spanish and Hispanic Studies. I not only focused on my studies, but I also played lacrosse, studied abroad in Madrid, and was also part of a singing group. I also helped a physics department professional during my time in school. It was my job to help analyze the intersection of cognitive science, contemplative practice, and physics education. In my senior thesis, I discussed the results of this project. I've always loved learning, ever since I was younger. I like to learn new things, and I also enjoy helping others learn more. I have experience helping others in different ways. This includes working as a behavioral specialist to assist individuals with developmental disabilities, serving as a swim instructor, and by working with individuals with psycho-educational issues. I feel that it's my duty as a tutor to ask my students questions and to allow them to bounce ideas off of me. I will serve as a mentor as they work their way through the learning process.
