Experience
I graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Secondary Teaching certificate, and I plan to further my education by pursuing my master's degree in writing. I began tutoring other students while I was in high school, and continued to tutor throughout my time in college. I've had experience working with children in elementary school, as well as middle and high school students. Currently, I'm employed at Sterling Education, a private school, where I teach high school English. I enjoy working with students, helping them become more confident, and watching them apply the skills that they learn in my classes to their other schoolwork.I tutor students in reading, writing, literature, and English. I also enjoy working with students who are struggling with grammar and mechanics, because it's a subject that's easy to relate to other areas of students' lives. Additionally, I'm available to help students with essay editing and writing college essays. I also offer test prep services to students preparing to take the ISEE in lower, middle, and upper levels.In my free time, I enjoy hiking, reading, and traveling. I also like to volunteer and visit my niece.
