I am a licensed educator with my endorsement in high school social studies. I have been a substitute teacher for two years, gaining valuable experience in stressful and foreign environments that are outside of my endorsement. This has allowed me to become comfortable in areas that are outside of my comfort zone and has created a sense of empathy in me for students who are in classrooms and topic areas that they are not comfortable with. I am a relationship-centered person who believes that every child deserves the time and energy of an educator who cares for them and is willing to discover the individual way that they learn. My expertise is in all things Social Studies, but I am well versed in literature, grammar, vocabulary, identifying main points and summarizing, and poetry.
