I have a B.S. with a double major in physics and mathematics and a Masters in Applied Physics from Michigan Technological University to be completed summer 2016. I finished with a 3.3 GPA with course work in physics, microscopy and atmospheric science and have passed my physics qualifying exams, My research work involves optical properties of atmospheric particles in the free troposphere in the Azores.
Experience
Before beginning grad school I was working on my teaching certificate in math, physics and general science where I worked in a high school classroom and tutored in the college tutoring lab. In graduate school I've thrived teaching physics labs and doing some private tutoring. My interest in upper level mathematics and physics lead me to grad school, not a lack on interest in education! My ultimate goal is to teach at a community college level because of a genuine passion I have for teaching and education.
